Code 22 - VTEC oil pressure switch - Help!
OK as the title indicates I am throwing a code 22 for the oil pressure switch. I checked the wires/plug and it's got 12V across the two pins so there shouldn't be a shorted or damaged wire anywhere.
I checked for continuity across the pressure switch itself and the switch is CLOSED (on) when the engine isn't running (0 oil pressure). Is this normal? Or should the switch be open until pressure comes up?
I don't have my Helms manual available (in the middle of moving and its buried somewhere) so any help would be appreciated!

1) What year is your car
2) What year & type (JDM or US) is your engine?
I ask this because if you have a 96+ JDM engine and you're running a US ECU, you will get a code 22; because JDM 96+ DOHC VTEC engines do not have a vtec pressure switch on the solenoid.
Here are some suggestions:
Check for continuity between the blu/blk wire at the VTEC PS plug and the appropriate pin at the ECU plug. Here are the pin locations with respect to year.
'92-'95 D6
'96-'99 C15 (Civic)
'96-'00 C15 (Integra)
'99-'00 C10 (Civic)
'00-'01 C10 (Integra)
If you have continuity on the blu/blk wire make sure the black wire is continuous to ground.
If both of these check out try another ECU and/or try another VTEC pressure switch.
Those are all the things that I can think of that can go wrong. If you guys can think of anything else please let us know so dbman96 can fix this code 22.
