With no oil in the car will it definately throw a 22?

woah woah woah! I haven't even started the engine yet!
The swap is almost done and I'm just waiting for an o2 sensor. so i figured I check and see what codes I'm throwing so I could start to troubleshoot. Start the car without oil... lol.

OK, it will only "throw" a 22 if it tries to go into VTEC i think...

is it throwing a code 22?

if it is, it may have searched for the pressure sensor and not found it, but i dont think it does that untill it needs to ie when you try to go VTEC and there is no signal...

Yup. It's definately throwing a 22. A 2 and a 22. Where exactly is the vtp sensor at on an h22? Just below the distributor I thought. But nothing is listed on it in the chiltons ( I know, I need the helms). I was thinking maybe my PlaceRacing pigtail is wired wrong.

 

yeah, wrong or not connecting properly...

there were helms in a thread on here before, not sure if H22 ones though...

I looked for an h22 pdf, but nobody has one.
I guess I'll contact PRI about the pigtail.
