Default code 16 1991 dx hatch

i have a 91 dx hatch automatic and my car wont start interior is removed already and my ecu is flashing codes 16 whats goin on here? Thanx for all the help. ooh and how do i fix this problem

code 16 is about an injector, have you done anything recently to your car? do you have access to (an)other dx injector(s)?

I pulled out all of my a/c crap but nothin else. Im about to buy another dx motor so yes i do have access to another injector.

Well, since you asked... code 16 is an interruption in the electrical circuit for the injectors. The path is fuse to ignition switch to main relay to injector resistors (if you have them) to injector coils to ECU. Since you worked on the interior, I would suggest you check for power to the main relay and then look for 12 volts at the injectors. (Ignition ON but engine not running) It doesn't matter which injector you measure at. They all get power. The ECU selectively completes the circuit to ground as required.
