Code 12??????Help
I have a 90 CRX with a J-spec B16A swap with AEM CAI, DC Sports 4-2-1 header, Tanabe Racing Medallion CAt-back, ACT clutch, and shaved flywheel. I am throwing Code 12 which is the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) lift sensor circuit. does anyone know what this does, where it is at, or how to fix it? Thanks for any help you can provide.

are you absolutely sure its a code 12?? i have a b16a1 w/ pr3 ecu. this motor does not have an egr valve. it uses a pcv valve instead for exhaust gas recirculation.

Lets clear this up:
EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation
PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation
The two are NOT the same, nor is there function anything alike.
The PCV does not route exhaust gas...it routes crankcase vapors.

OK I found out the most of the problem. B16 has no EGR, so therefore it is a wiring problem. I looked in the wrong helm manual when I looked up EGR (yes i am dumb sometimes). Does anyone have any idea of what could be wired wrong to cause this. Thanks
