Code 12 EGR
So I have a code 12 EGR - exhaust gas recirculation lift valve. What would be some of the problems? My friend told me the sensor might be clogged and the intake manifold would need to be cleaned. Any truth to his answer? Thanks in advance guys

EGR system has to do with emissions.....It will not harm your car (you might get a little rough idle).....i would check operation of EGR valve first then i would clean EGR ports and lines...depending on what kind of car you drive. i hope this helps....let me know
