Default coating my pistons.

hey i have a b17 and a set of usdm itr pistons waiting to go in it. what type of coatings are there available to me? i am going to boost the motor in the summer and would like to avoid detonation. i heard i could have them ceramic coated, i have also seen some pistons coated black? not carbon either they were brand new. do i have to polish the pistons before i can have them coated? where can i have the coating done. thanks.

i went with PM side coating and ceramic top coating. they have a more high tech top coating "gold coating" which was not recommended to me by them as it needs to be seated relatively soon after the coating *by installing the pistons and heat cycling them* it is a lot more expencive than the standart coating and it is prone to damage.
