Default clutchmasters v. exedy

which one do any of you guys prefer? at first i was thinking exedy, all i hear is good things about it and i still do. but after reading several posts, people say they make stock clutches and clutches which perform just a little better than stock, well anyways my friend suggests clutchmasters stage III, any opinions?

I know its not one of the choices but I recommend ACT. But I also heard good things about Exedy. I have experienced many problems with Clutchmasters..a spring popped out of my clutchmasters disc and it also happened to a couple of my friends. Well....thats just my $0.02

I've had the Exedy Tri-puck and also the organic clutch set, they both are really good. For extreme power the tri-puck is very good, but daily driveability sucks. The organic is a lot better, it should hold even with around 40% or more increase in power without the driveability suffering too much. One thing though is that both the organic and tri-puck have the same pressure plates, so both of them are quite stiff.

Clutch master and exedy are good. Both company makes great clutches and flywheels. i have been through clutch master stage 4, they're good, but if you want to rev over 9500RPM than go with exedy. because i had a friend that broke two stage 4 and 5 CM clutchs by reving it pass 9500 RPM mark. Right now i'm running the CM's twin disc. it works fine and it has no problem reving it pass 9500 RPM.
if you're looking for something that would hold the power and it won't break on you... i would say go with ACT, Exedy, or the twin disc from CM. BTW it all depends on how much power your motor is making and how high you're reving it up to.

I have the exedy racing clutch and clutchmasters aluminum flywheel. All I can say is the clutch has amazingly smooth engaging and the light fly pretty much doubled my rev speed.
