Default Clutch woes

I installed a brand new Exedy clutch kit(pp clutch to and pilot bearings) and a new fidanza flywheel into my crx.
I broke the clutch in for 500 miles never taking it into high rpms, and no dumping on the clutch.
There is now 618 miles on the clutch and it seems to slightly slip when I give it full throttle. I can shift from 2nd to 5th and floor it, the rpms shoot up fast for about 500 or so rpms then it grabs. This also happens if I just cruise in any gear and floor it, it feels powerless during this period.
What can cause this.

Could be a bad throw out bearing or maybe you didn't clean the input shaft before installing the throw out bearing, but most likely, it's a bad cable adjustment.

My engine/tranny look brand new from all the cleaning 8-), I also cleaned the inner bellhouse and lubed the bearing/shaft. I'll go jack with the cable and give it a ton of freeplay.

I gave the cable more play and it still slips, seems like it only slips when its hot, when I first started the car this morning it grabbed very well, later on it started slipping. Also it only slips when I first get on it, once it grabs it holds and does not slip anymore.

my brand new exedy stg1 clutch slipped in my single cam after break in too. never stopped for over 2k miles. so i switched to a stronger pressure plate (ACT)and it grabbed hard. yours could be something else though.
