here lately my car has been acting funny? what it does is when i take off in first letting the clutch ingage slowly the car starts to kind of bump bump bump like its slipping or somthing, i dont no if that is the problem or not but i don want this problem going unnoticed, i mean should i heed the warning signs? is my clutch going out?

 

Before you replace the clutch check for other (cheaper) causes... my 98 Civic did the same thing, took it to the dealer and they said it was the clutch, so I had it replaced. Turned out it was caused by bad spark plug wires!

 

to me it sounds like your clutch is going out.

To the guy above. I dont see how the spark plug wires would cause your clutch to slip

 

I think he was suggesting that that a missfire due to bad plug wires could cause the bump bump bump feeling.
If your clutch is slipping it will be obvious.

 

Correct the bad wires caused the engine to hesitate during acceleration, the dealer thought incorrectly that it was the Clutch slipping.

 

does your rpms jump and not go any where, do you have any oil leaks
