YS1 cable tranny, clutch specialties non sprung 6 puck disc w heavy duty PP.

i can't seem to do 7k launches because the car starts to move if i dont have the ebrake up. it's not a light roll either, feels almost like as if i jsut started in first gear driving slowly. i've tried adjusting the cable to no luck as well. car also grinds 3rd and 4th.

someone suggested to me that my clutch could be bad. any ideas?

 

Does the pedal feel any different? If the fingers on the pp are broken it will have almost a squishy feel but wont totally release.

Unsprung clutches are a bad idea. It WILL make springs out of the bearing in the tranny over time. Trust me. If you do end up pulling it apart, have one with springs ready.
