Default Clutch problem. help please!

Hey guys...

I was driving friday night on the freeway getting onto the off ramp late at night so i decided to speed up. i scratched 3rd gear pretty good for like 2 seconds, which is a long time. but i shifted into the other gears with no problems. 30 seconds later i get off the freeway and it was hard to shift into gears. IT was a real struggle to get to gears... so i got scared and drove home. I waited until the car cooled down and checked to see if i can shift gears while the car was off and i was able to. I turned on the car and pressed the clutch to see if i could change gears but it did the same thing... I took out the tranny... Looked at the flywheel and it looked realll good, it wasnt warped. The clutch disk was worn down and had a HAIR left on the pads. my nail could barely stop on the grooves. the pressure plate was still ok too, not too bad, but had some wear on the outer sides. but the clutch on both sides were worn down evenly... is that my tranny or my clutch that is the problem?

Another thing that scared me...

While i was taking the tranmission apart, some fluid came out of the transmission, not near the axles. It didnt have much smell, it looked like tranmission fluid but it didnt smell like it. It wasnt oild either. When i took a look at the tranmission everything was bone dry with red, no leaks. so im like huh?

Third gear grinds too, but 2000 miles later the clutch died, so could it be the clutch too?

So my question is...

The reason i cant shift, is that because of the clutch or my tranmission?

and could third gear grind because the clutch was bad?

help is greatly apprechiated.

If its the clutch i plan on buying an exedy clutch disc for 48-50 bucks and throw it in until i have enough money for a whole motor rebuild.

99 GSR

The car leaked alot of oil before from the head. Very large amounts from the head. And it went all over the place. But i got that fixed and it didnt leak one drop of oil or fluids after that. The transmission seemed to be full too since i tipped it over just a little and it started dropping tranny fluid.
