this started this morning... whenever i begin to depress the clutch pedal or am almost finished releasing it, i can hear a click coming from somewhere around the pedal. it's not my shoe, the pedal's not lose, there's nothing near it, so wtf is it?
Mine does it too. We came to the conclusion that It is the spring that is connected to the clutch kinda high above it. Someone at TeamIntegra.net told me the spring was used to help you push the clutch in. I tried lubing the whole area but the click still comes and goes...

Its a neutral saftey switch. Just like you can only start an auto in P or N. You can only start the car if its in neutral. The noise you hear is a microswitch.
have someone listen under the hood while you cycle the clutch a couple times without the car running. mine done this and you can hear it coming from the tranny. but mine goes away if you cycle the clutch a couple times. i'm thinking i have a bad slave cylinder or a bubble in the line. i'm replacing the cs sometime before topeka, so i might have an answer by then.

it's not from the clutch itself; i know it's coming from the pedal because i stuck a light under there, and my head, and pressed it with my hand and listened. it's somewhere around the hinges/joints (figures) but i can't get it to stop

the clicking is the switch going in and out.
think if it like a button.

My car has the same problem everytime i let the clutch out I feel and hear a clicking sound. I tried greasing it up but nothing. If i hold my hand around the clutch master cylinder and have someone press the clutch until they hear the clicking noise I feel the click inside the clutch master cylinder. So too those of you that have had this problem what was exactly was the problem? Please respond this is driving me nuts.
Probobly the pushrod or the pedal pivot mechanism...
Mine does the same thing and I don't work so I'll check it out and try to get it fixed tomorrow and post results...

You can pick up a new MC for about $120 from http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/
Once you get it, its pretty self explainitory.
There are studs that go through the firewall held on by two nuts. A clip that goes through the MC into the pedal itself, the line that runs from the MC to the slave, and the plastic resivour itself.

i had that problem also....pull out the square rubber part on the slave cylinder that goes into the housing...then youll see another rubber boot like the one on your throttle cable...pull that back and grease the pivot ball thingy in there really good..pump the clucth a few times to work it in and put a lil more...slap it all back together correctly and it should g away...it did for me anyway..also search and theres been many threads discussing this procedure if my technical terms make no sense to you...g/l
