clutch lost pressure today... help??
This morning when i got up for a drive to class, i found out the engaging point of my clutch was unbelievably low! the first 3/4 of it had no pressure whatsoever... everything was fine yesterday... could it still be the clutch wearing out? or am i needing oil or anything? help pls...
Check fluid - uses brake fluid - some are not all compatible. Check for leaks in master and slave cylinders. Bleed them (hydrolic) of oxygen.
weird part is, i took the car for a good 3 hour drive (had to head back to NYC then back here in LI), the clutch pressure went back up to normal for like a good hour, and then came flat again... checked fluid, added it to the max, still no change.... is it master cylinder? or new clutch time?

anyone has any different opinions? i really don't think its the master cylinder.. the perssure came back up to normal today.. could it be a hose or pump (is there a clutch pump)? the pressure dropped and came back up twice already... so weird.
When there is air in the lines, or you master/slave is going - it will do that, gain pressure, stay for awhile, then drop agian. It's the oxygen flowing though the lines. There is no pump, well, the master and slave cylinders work like a pump. Are you losing fluid? Are your slave/master leaking? Check...

weather can change pedal feel in a situation like yours. I just worked on an integra today that needed a master and slave- friday it had some pedal, enough to shift gears, but today when I pulled it in the shop it had no pedal.

it was a 94 ls- the reservoir was empty and the the pedal was stuck to the floor. If you replace the master you should replace the slave as well- 99% of the time the slave goes shortly after the master. Lack of fluid changes causes this.
