Default Clutch kit question...

I see a lot of clutches around and I just thought of something, since I'm using a B18 vtec motor in my Si hatch, wouldn't it be ok to just use a regular replacement OR hd street clutch? I mean, its going to be NA and its not gonna see the clutch often, and I don't really street race (well, not around ppl. - u know what I mean), and its gonna be a daily driver. So far, I've found some good prices with ACT, Excedy, Sachs and some other kit I saw. I wanna use the ACT but I don't wanna do something overkill. Anybody have any suggestions or feedback on these clutches? Thanks.

Default Re: Clutch kit question... (SKiLLz-R)

I like the Exedy- they make Honda's clutches and their performance clutch is really nice. Check out clutchcityonline.com. The pedal will be stiffer but you will get used to it. ACT uses an exedy disc (depending on which one you get)- *** imports told me the Exedy is much nicer than the ACT- so - I tried the Exedy. I'm glad I did. Friend has a centerforce- what a piece of junk. Mine grips great and doesn't fade. I would highly recommend.
