Default Clutch Fluid: Did Search

I was just wondering how often do you have to change clutch fluid. I've heard that you don't have to change it unless you are installing a new clutch and there are other ppl telling me that you should change it b/c water does get in the the master and slave cylinders. Can someone clarify this for me?

I do it whenever I am doing my brake fluid, or when doing a clutch.
I am not sure what the recommended interval is.
