pleez help!?!
i really want to add power NOW to my car. i can't afford the engine i really want.
is it a bad idea to put a turbo on a stock inline 4? or should i settle for another engine with less power than the one i really want? pleez, pleez help!!

I'd wait and save your money. Research is your friend, what kind of car do you have?
You can put a turbo on a stock civic, but it would'nt be optimized for it, and prob would'nt give you the gains your looking for. I think if I were you, I'd save for the engine you want, and in the mean time research it like hell.
If you go B-series, I'd reccomend B-16a(from 99-01 Si). Anyone else know of other good B series engines??

i have a '94 civic dx. i know i won't get the gains i want, but anything is better than what i have now. i can't even race a mini van!!
i've reasearched every b series engine, along with the transmissions and ecu's. i just don't know very much about turbos yet. (still kinda new to the car thing
) is there a fairly inexpensive way to get decent gains just until i can get what i really want?
I NEED TO RACE!!!!!

I'd hate to provoke racing...uh hem...
but if what you want is a cheap way to go fast while you save for waht you really want, I'd suggest a nitrous shot, but be careful, it can do more damage than good sometimes. I'd suggest no more than a 75, safely a 50.
