Default clutch

i have a '94 Honda civic with a d15. I am hearing a squeaking sound every time i push in the clutch petal. It only squeaks when the car isn't moving. i listened to the squeaking sound and it sounds like it is some where around the trany. Some one help because this is really annoying.

The reason your engagment/pressure point is high is becasue your clutch plate is worn. I bet you have at least 60K miles on the clutch?

I would recommend looking into a new clutch sometime soon.

To wear out a bearing quick you need to be a person who holds on the clutch a lot.

Make sure when you do/if get a new clutch, you have the bearing replaced and greased!

Sounds definitely like the Throw-Out Bearing and definitely suggest replacing it.

Ya, you will have to remove the axles from the transmission, remove the starter, and remove the tranny to gain access to the bell housing.

It's pretty simple. Just a matter of time of removing bolts and such.

definitly a throwout bearing. Id inspect the clutch for wear when you take it off. Any parts store will have the throwout bearing you need. just make sure you lub your shaft w/ moly lube aswell, otherwise that can start makin noise too.
