Cluster fawked - or my car is... ?
Ok, yet again I want to throw this out there for anyone who might have had the same problems. I have a 1992 DX sedan, and I was installing a non USDM 5th gen cluster (w/ tach) and when I turn the key to ACC - the needles jump. Tach to like 1k rpm and the cluster one goes up the same amount (height wise)
Whats going on? For some reason is the DX weird and I need to do something other then plug it in - or because my car isnt "JDM y0!" do I need to throw like a resistor/capacitor on anything? Since BOTH do the same thing im assuming its not the cluster. I pulled it all apart and gave it a complete clean up (incase some lube was causing a bad ground or something) but no dice. Any way I can test this bad boy or get it working properly? Anyone got some advice?
If it is busted, how would I go about getting it repaired?

Also, could someone tell me what wires control the speedo / tach and maybe I can trace them down on the back of the cluster and see whats up. Do it like this...
Looking at the cluster - rotate it 180, and then the TOP wire is #1, below that #2 and so on. Same with the right side... maybe im missing what im looking for ??
