cleaning...exhaust?

cleaning...exhaust?
whats the best way to clean the exhaust to get it looking nice again..why I'm asking this is because my exhaust system is out of my car and I just want to clean it up for the heck of it ..thanks for reading

if it's stainless steel, use Brasso or any stainless metal polisher. If it's not stainless use a combo of mild soap and water.
