Default Cleaning Engine Bays

id really like to spray out my engine bay with some degreaser, than a hose and what not, what do i need to do to make sure ill be ok, i know i need to put something over my intake filter, but what else is needed?

Cover the distributor and go easy on the water pressure.

To me, the most important thing is to dry the alternator with compressed air (or do whatever you can to dry it), because pools of water can kill it. Also, if you ever get a dist fail, just use compressed air on it.

WD40 works good too if you don't have a compressor.
