whats up guys, lately Ive been having a minor problem with my 92 civic, whenever im slowing down at speeds lower than 10 mph, with or without the brakes on i get this click click click noise coming form the left front side of my car. Yeah at first i was thinking axle like many of you probably are, so i put it on the lift at my work and the boot looked a little binded up ( seemed like it was sucked in) but wasn't leaking or anything so im kinda stumped these axles are about 3-4 months old and they are the second set Ive had since my b16 swap


anyone have any input before i tear the axle out?...BTW these are lifetime warranty axles

yeah...im havin the same problem, frontleft...only when im turing at very slow speeds. axle? bearing?

 

sounds like a axle to me. QUestion you said you did a b16 swap what engine did you have before, becuase when you swap engines you swap axles. Alot of people don't do that but your suppose to because most axles can't handle what they weren't desinged for. so if your using a b16 engine make sure you get a b16 axle and if your running boost get a stronger axle than that.

 

well it turns out my axle is moving in and out of my intermediate shaft at different speeds causing the clicking....does this mean i just need a new axle?
