Default claying motor

Can anyone give me a hand with this? Getting ready to clay the motor, but I would like to check clearance with VTEC engaged. Didn't know if anyone knew how to lock in the VTEC engagement to do this. Oh yeah - setup is : B16A, CTR pistons, Skunk2 valves, springs retainers, and stage II cams with spoon headgasket. No mill on head. Stock rods and crank. If anyone has tried this setup and knows it will work/won't work I would love to know. (kind of fuct if it won't work...). Thanks in advance.

you SHOLD be okay, but to check with vtec on, you have to take the rockers out
and reverse the pins so that they are locked together
