Default CKP sensor

I have a 97 Honda Civic DX with a 1998 GSR swap. I swapped the two pin plug on my ckp sensor to a 3 so it would match with my harness, but the problem is that its to short and the female plug will no reach the male end. Has anyone encountered this problem?

I prefer not to bypass like he FFsquad suggested, but is that the only solution?
