Default B20b4 with b16 harness

So I recently just purchase a 97 civic hatch with a b20b4 swap. I have experience working and building cars truck ect... but never got into hondas, so bare with me. My question is this, should I run the IAT sensor set up on the d16 harness that it running my b20b4? Or only use the b20b4 style IAT sensor that is located on the intake manifold. As of right now the b16 IAT sensor plug itself is just dangling in the engine bay. So should I buy the sensor and plug it into my intake piping or is the b20b4 IAT sensor good enough.

The 1 on the B2B4 is good enough you’ll just have to cut,run the wires and solder the original plug for that IAT sensor

That's what I don't understand though. The b20b4 sensor is already plugged in and working it's really strange. Like there is two separate IAT sensors wired into the harness. Just trying wrap my mind around it.
