CKF sensor help/question
iam doing my first B swap in a OBD2 car , iam running a obd-1 ecu ,but all obd2a sensors and distrubtor , my oil pump dont have the ckf sensor or any place to mount one so iam wondering if this info below is tru and if it is that means i can just install what i have using the obd1 ecu and forget all about the cfk sensor completely please someone verify this for me
"If you're planning to use a US OBD2 ecu to power the OBD1 engine, you'll need a work around for the CKF sensor. This is the crank sensor that's integrated on the oil pump found on all US OBD2 engines. Only US OBD2 ecu's look for this sensor whereas OBD1 and JDM OBD2 ecu's do not...which means OBD1 & JDM OBD2 engines do not have a CKF sensor on the oil pump"

yea thats if iam running a obd2 ecu which iam not , iam running a obd1 P30 (del sol B16 ecu) thats why iam wondering if that quote i posted is true , basically what that quote is saying is honda engines did NOT have that sensor(CFK sensor) on there engines until 96 is that true
