Civic trunk repair?
The cardboard/wood/plywood piece that goes between the carpet and spare tired bounces around in my trunk and doesnt sit still. ITs also cracked in one place. Would getting a trunk/cargo liner fix this? Or is there a way to get a replacement that wont jump around like crazy. I was thinking if there was a heavy rubber liner in there it would keep it from bouncing and also when its winter will keep the inside dry.
Thanks! I can post pics if needed.

The reason it moves is it had a few pieces of foam glued to the under side that rested on the spare, I am guess they broke off.
I would take out the old one trace it on some ply wood and cut it out to make a new one, and then take a few pieces of 2 x4 and nail 3 small blocks from the top down 1 at the top to rest on the spare and maybe 2 more left and right this will help it from sagging in.

Why not check your local bone yards for one in good shape, I found a perfect one for my 94 Integra at my local PicknPull, $4. 94

I went, the closest they have is a 2001 Civic LX at two different lots, I will check it out. I also want to take the spoiler wing off one and put it on mine as I think it will make it look really nice. Plus one of my hubcaps is broken so I might gone off of them.
