anyone know how to replace the cig lighter in the console? I can't get it out of the console, does it screw off? red wire should have 12v at acc and black is ground?

 

Did you take off the cover that its in?Im reffering to the center console with the change holder in it.The cig lighter should be screwd in from the back.Also have you tried another cig lighter befor replacing the cig lighter socket?Mind did the same thing so i tried another cig lighter and it worked fine.

 

hey thanks, I finally got it off, I didn't get a grip, but once I got a grip of the socket it screwed right off. Also, I found it that the wire was loose on it, so I had to solder it back on. Works now! thanks
