Default Choosing an ECU for OBDI conversion

I'm looking to convert to OBDI and will have the ECU chipped to handle the B16A converted to OBDI specs. However I'm looking to retain the factory knock sensor. Which ECU can handle the knock sensor but will work well with a Hondata? This is the only reason I don't want to go with a P28. Thank you people

stock knock sensor is a usless piece but if you must have it then your best choices are:
USDM P30 and P61 (b17a)
JDM P30 and P72
USDM P72

Hmmm, I always thought the engine was much better off having it... but your reply is making me think differently since you obviously know what you're talking about

Would you recommend just getting a P28 then? Thanks

Stock knock sensor is a piece just like he said. It sometimes can pick up noise from a big turbo and retard ignition because it thinks you're detonating. I converted from a 99-00 EX P2P ecu (which had a knock sensor) to a P28. It was well worth it.
