Default Chipped ECU issues.....chrome, moates burner etc....

First off had the car running peachy, idling decent... This was after burning possibly 4-5 chips, checksum disabled, and all random sensors that are not needed were also disabled. I am using flashburn with a moates apu1 to burn the chips, since the chrom put/get feature is a piece of ****. (whole other story)

Anyways as of right now 4 different chips later, the car is getting a solid CEL after running for about 45seconds. This is a solid cel, so jumping service connector wont do dick for a SOLID ( 1) cel. So with this sweet *** CEL the car hops right into limp mode and sounds like a top fuel car, i cant complain about the sound, but its really hard to run a car in limp mode. I tried this with 2 different ECU's, with the same results. YES, both ECUs are chipped properly, and the car will run with the J1 jumper cut.

The car is also running a obd2-1conversion harness. Running the car on the stock ECU with a scanner plugged in shows all sensors are working properly, and within there respected ranges. (Stock ECU running e85, w/ 1000cc injectors, idles around 900rpm, lamda .9)

Anywho the cats on pgmfi.org think the board needs to be re_soldered, i'm going to redo all this junk friday, but just curious what you guys think...

I would check the board again like they said over at PGMFI.

Sounds stupid, but are you shure your burning the chip correctly to its corresponding chip type? I have done that before.

Yup positive the chips are burning correctly. Using 27SF512 chips with the following burn values

chip start->end
008000->00FFFF

buffer start->end
000000->007FFF

That all depends on where your placing the chip in the zif socket. Are you enabling the 27sf512 chip? and is it positioned correctly?

I would check the soldering connections for the dif socket. Invest in a 10x zoom magnify glass, I use one that my uncle has, and wow, you can really see what your doing with this thing. De-solder, check it out, put it in, solder, check it out, You are able to tell if the sleeve actually is filled with solder, or it burnt out. I burnt out 1 p28, and 1 p06 so far from using too hott of an iron.
