yea i blew my tranny the other day and this is what it was.

i had gsr gears in an ls case (with ls diff) and it blew up within 5 days of finally have my car running/boosting
The gears are cool and the case looks like it can be rewelded. now i just need a new ls diff - So if anyone has one PLEASE im or email me at burkemdavis2@yahoo.com
i also have a GSR diff, but i dont think that will work - Right????

I 've got your LS diff right here bro. I just put a quife in so i have no use for my ls differential....let me see if I can dig it out of my garage...its some where in there.

All you need is "jb weld"

 

looks to me like you need a ring gear not a diff...........

 

all that from 5 days of running a boosted engine?

 

im not sure why it happened. im sure its not cause of the hp. Those things handle more power than i was pushing on a daily basis. the bearings were bad on it, so maybe that's why. i dont have a clue. ah but **** happens......
