Ok guys I've never seen this code before and I can't find it in the forums or internet. My car has thrown this code 2 times in the last week and it's got me stumped! Code 60, 6 slow blinks. Any ideas ??? Thanks in advance to all who look here..

 

from my experience there is no code 60!

 

Are you sure you're not missing a pause in between flashes?

 

There is no "code 60", there is a code 61, [maybe your missing the short flash] primery O2.

What is the MM&Y of the car, any mods?

Other then CEL how does the car run?

 

Ok car is a 92 civic cx hatch. Built gsr tuned and chipped by ericks racing. Car runs hard as hell. I am positive I am not missing any blinks. It's 6 slow blinks long pause and repeat. First time it happened to me I was in stop and go traffic. Second time I was mashing third on the freeway and the car sputtered and choked a little bit. I also thought I missed a blink somewhere the first time after looking into it but the second time I was positive and stumped. Only other issues with the car is a very random iat code (10) that pops up every once in a while. Iat is hardwired straight to ecu, and iat is new. Even with iat light on it seems to have little to no effect on car. I am currently looking for a solution to this as well

 

Btw my o2 has been deleted with the tune...

 

Try another ecu, if it doesn't repeat it's an ecu issue.

 

X2^^^, the ECU/ECM supplies the "blinks" to the CEL, it fallows, improper code, bad ECU/ECM, possibly the chip. 94

Ok guys if this ever happens to anyone (the code 60 thing) I'm going to tell you what it was- the d21 pin on the ecu wires were almost broken. They were barely touching and it was causing my ecu to spaz out. I re-pinned it and it's good to go now. Thank you guys for all your help. This is why I love honda tech forum users!!no homo haha.
