Default Check engine light code 7 d15b

Hey guys, so I recently put in a new tps when my check engine light threw a code 7. This fixed the problem and the light went away. I then found that when I floor the gas for a few seconds the check engine light comes on again and stays on until I turn the car off. I checked the code and its still the same thing, code 7. I have no idea what this could be. Any ideas?

did you adjust the tps correctly? did you install it correctly? it's very easy to install the tps with the locating pin on the wrong side of the tabs.
and for adjustment, it's crucial for closed throttle voltage to be 0.45-0.50 volts.

How do I know if the locating pin is on the right side of the tabs?

either datalog through a tuneable ecu and tuning software, or backprobe the signal wire and watch voltage full closed, full open, and gradually opening from fully closed to fully open. should be 0.45-0.5v closed, and somewhere around 4.1-4.6v wide open, with a gradual consistent increase in voltage from closed to open.

if closed voltage is zero, or anything under 0.3v, or if voltage doesnt start increasing until you're more than 1/8 open, its installed wrong
