Newbie Here. Had a wreck a couple of weeks ago. Drove the car 2 weeks before insurance company would come through. Person hit me damaging my left front. Body shop replaces left fender, bumper, headlight, fender well, bracket holding radiator, etc.

Picked car up at body shop today. Check engine light came on immediately. Went in and told them about this. They said they didn't work on the engine. Said it wasn't their problem.

Could they have done something here. It is ironic that I haven't seen this light before I took it to them.

Pull the error code. Maybe it was a wiring harness pulled apart or something?
