My check engine light came on today and i have no idea what is the cause.
I went over briefly to a mechanic shop and he did a quick diagnostic test on it. The mechanic said that my engine missfired the 1st 2nd and 4th times ("cylinder wall?). He used a lil computer handheld device.
HELP! Any guesses what is the problem.
My turbo kit arrives this coming week, any suggestions on whether or not I should install the kit? THANKS

Should i do a compression test? Maybe my internals are bad?
any advice would be much appreciated

Okay, my check engine light came on for no reason too.. After I ran Compression, Leakdown and all the tests I could think of.. This is what the problem was, I didn't screw my gascap down good enough.. After 3 trips, the light resets.. Could be something supid like that. I was pissed as hell but at least I know my car runs well.

 

just the code yourself and it will throw the code.
