Charcoal canister hookup...help.
First of all, thanks for clicking on this topic.
Here's my problem. I am in the middle of swapping in a j-spec Integra engine into my 00 Civic hatch. The problem arises when I realized that j-spec motors don't use a charcoal canister. So what do I do w/ the huge one hooked up on the Civic? Do I remove it or find a way to use it somehow?
Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for your suggestion.
One of the thing is that since jdm Hondas do not run a canister, they do not have the inlet nipple on the intake manifold for the line from the canister.
So I guess for the meantime I will just vent that line outside the car somewhere.

If the ECU does not have any provision for purging the canister- it will not purge. If it does, you can put the line anywhere along the intake piping before the throttle plate (as long as you are not running forced induction)
