Hey All,
I wanted some pointers .. First off my rotors are warped again
(cross drilled and slotted ), so I want to take them off and go to the local Autozone to get them resurfaced for 6.00. Ive never done this before but Im assuming its not too hard. I wanted to know, in a nutshell what this involves cause I DO NOT want to do it wrong.
I think there are 2 or 3 bolts to the caliper and then 3 or 4 on the rotor itself. Does this sound right? I want to start to do more things and NOT go to the dealership so these small repairs. Too bad my Helms manual is lost!!
Thanks!

Real easy. Theres 2 bolts holding the caliper to the hub. They're where you can't see, so stick you head in there to see which ones to remove. Remove them with a 14mm wrench. Hang the calipers to the upper a arm with a coathanger.
The rotors are a little tricky if there the same as the Ludes. Theres a phillips head screw that holds the rotor on the hub that has to be impacted out. Having a compressor makes this easy. I had to go buy an impact driver for about $10. Its this big steel bar thingy with interchangable bits that you beat with a hammer. Its crude but it works well.
Hope this helps!

that being said.
I would suggest against resurfacing. If you are having problems with your cross drilled/slotted. Then go buy some blanks.

how did you warped them? in a racetrack or something like that, cuz in the streets of US is almost imposible.
what brand of rotors are those? and what brake pads did you use?
