On Monday I'm hopefully going to change my ATF. I've got all the stuff that I need, transmission flush, new fluid, a syringe for filling, etc, but what I'm not sure about, is if the two bolts on the transmission, the drain and fill, use seals like the oil sump plug?
I'm also going to change my oil, and got the seal today, and then realised I never considered whether the transmission plugs use them or not, does anybody know?
Also, while I'm making a topic, the seal for my oil sump plug is like a metal washer, I haven't changed oil on many cars, but of the cars I have done, the seal was rubber. Is a metal washer like seal correct?

Metal washers are fine. The tranny drain bolt has a 3/8 in. ratchet hole. The fill bolt is hard to miss, it's the large bolt near the top. When filling the tranny have car on flat surface. When draining, it helps to have it a little slanted (car jacked to the left) so most of the fluid comes out. If you want superior protection buy a new drain bolt with a magnetic tip -- collects most small metal fragments.

It only changes about 40% of the tranny oil.

Don't waste you're time in doing it... Bring it to Mr Lube or WalMart and they will use their hydrolic transmission mech to remove 100% of the old fluid from the TC and the system...
