Default Changing outer CV boots on Integra

My outer boots are starting to crack, and I need to replace them asap. When disassembling the outer boot, does transmission fluid leak out at all? I have a KAAZ LSD on my car, and I have torco race oil in the transmission. I was thinking about just having a shop fix them for me, but, i don't want them draining out my transmission, only to throw in new fluid that'll screw up my LSD. I need to know if I got to buy new oil for this repair.

to replace CV boots you do not need to drain transmission oil, i changed mine a few months ago, and luckly this time the drive did not pop out of the tranny like last time. you will however have to fill the new boot and pack the drive end with grease before putting it on, but even if you take the whole drive out of the tranny, transmission oil cant drain out.

Usually I loose a littl fluid when I pull axles. Its less than a quart. You can catch it and pour it back in, no problem. Just remove the speed sensor and pour it in there.
