Changing the Intake manifold
Does anbody know where to find instructions for changing out an intake manifold? I'm putting a type r intake manifold on a b16a motor in my 2000 civic si. If anybody kwows any tricks i would appreciatee it.
Don't forget about the bolt under the backside of the manifold to the mounting bracket. It's not easy to get to, but has to be taken off to remove the manifold. Get a new IM gasket and TB gasket. Also, make sure your sensors are transfered over and tightened down.
Also, the R manifold needs a bracket from Acura to fit in the Si, if I'm not mistaken.
And the Helms is a must-have if you work on your own car. Spring for the cash and buy it.

I did this on my 1st gen. B16a, should be quite similar. http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/asmsbm/r_iminstall.htm
