Default changing head gasket

How much does this normaly cost? I think I need to change mine since i can oil seeping from that area and also compression test numbers were low and i was told to get it changed. Car has about 150k on it so i guess it wouldn't hurt to change it. I was also wondering if this is hard to do. If not I will try diong it myself on a saturday or something. Also last thing, i wanted to go turbo but i have 150k on my motor so im thinking should i put a thicker one on or just leave it?

Assuming this is a b18c engine, check carefully for other leaks. Many times the cam seal, vtec solenoid gasket or distributor o-ring are leaking and looks like the head is. Low compression numbers are from a tired engine. If the headgasket was blown enough to cause low compression, most likely the car would not even run. If you are going to tackle the job yourself, you should be mechanically inclined with a helms manual in hand, otherwise it may not be a good idea.
