Default Changing crank sprocket, will this work..

I have an lsvtec and am using a obd2 itr oilpump on it.. Can I use an obd1 timing belt crank sprocket on it.. I dont need to use the cfk sensor anyway so will the obd1 sprocket work correctly with an obd2 pump??
