Default Changed fuel filter, small o ring?

I just change the fuel filter in my 1998 integra and when i ordered the fuel filter from Honda, it came with 3 o-rings, 2 big ones and 1 small one. The 2 big ones go on the bolt the goes into the fuel filter, but im having a hard time trying to figure out where the small one goes, i started the car up fine with out it and everything seems ok. Is it okay to run without it?

On top of the output banjo fittings is a 8mm bolt. It is just a gasket for it.

Toss it.
