Default cell 43

I know what the code means. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I have a crx with a b18a that is beginning to become a money pit. Long story short if I let the car idle for 5 mins the car will shut off and throw a cell 43. The car is missing when I drive it at around 4,000 rpms to 5,000 rpm. My idle is somewhat normal. I have replaced the fuel filter, plugs, wires, and cap.

Does anybody no why it would throw a code and die when just idle ?

yes cell 43 is the supply fuel system

Wheres the best place to order 02 sensor. My local parts stores are saying 80 for one. Is that normal for a obd1 o2 sensor?

http://www.oxygensensors.com has pretty good prices, especially if you want OEM DENSO. https://www.autohausaz.com/ also has good prices, and both sites have free shipping.

I installed the new 02 sensor. It didn't fix the problrem. The car will not stay running if I dont give it gas when I first start it. If I let the car idle without giving it throttle it will die after running for 2 to 3 mins. It just shuts off. The car stumbles at lower rpms. It wont pull smoothly threw the rpms. I checked the fuel pressure I have 30 psi with the vacuum line connected and 41 psi with the line disconnected. WOT I hit 41 psi also

After the car shuts off I throw a code for 13 ( BARO sensor ) and code 43 ( Fuel supply ) the things is I only throw the code 13 when the car first cuts off.

Has anybody else had this problem and if so how did you fix it.

This all happens when the car is cold.

I let the car idle to the fan came on.Then I took the car out for a test run. I runs alot better after it is warmed up. I'm still boggin out at 4,000 rpms but not nearly as bad as before. Also after I run the car it will idle with out cutting off. Also I dont get the cell 13 or 43.

because after searching code 43 alot of people said it was because of a 02 sensor that was about to go out.

I'm not a mechanic but I'm trying to learn. Bare with me

Common sense too who. I'm not a mechanic and two people in this thread said o2 sensor plus at least 10 more recommended it from past threads.

So what do you think the problem is? I replaced fuel filter, cleaned injectors, check for fuel leaks, fuel pressure is right. Also replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I have used injector cleaner and replaced the o2 sensor.
