Default CEL code 8 quick blinks. I already searched, can't find it.

I have a 96 ex with an obd-1 ecu and everything. I checked for the code and my cel is blinking 8 quick or regular blinks. I don't know if there is a different speed or anything. Any help is greatly appreciated. Like I said I already searched and got 247 threads.

More helpful info is that it is a boosted motor with a distributor king dizzy w/ external coil and a msd box. The cel first came on when I was listening to my radio pretty loud. Amps and all with a cap and all. I'm thinking low voltage somewhere. Except that when my radio is not on I got the cel again. So you can see where I'm getting lost, besides the fact taht I don't know the codes anyway.

TDC sensor. 90 percent of the time the sensor itself is bad inside the distributor.

^^x2 DTCode 8 is for the Top Dead Center sensor in the Dizzy. Check to make sure that none of your wiring came loose. Check all the connections at the distributor.
