99 accord ex...when im about 2400 rpm the car bog s down and jerks a little, i have to acelerate to get thru it. the code 45 is ( system adaptive fuel too rich/ lean) what should i look at first? i had a 95 accord and had a similar problem i had the egr valves cleaned and the problem was gone could it be the same?

 

try it out and let us know, look at the plugs and see if they are rich.

yes need info on this code 45......i just dropped a 00 si in my 00 ek with everything being stock........changed it to a new cat, still threw a code 45...what could it be

 

from my experiences with this code 45, it was a little bit rich, and since its an obd2 system, if more sensitive than obd1, i got rid of my code 45 with an o2 sim
