CEL after swap

Default CEL after swap

i just swapped in a b16a2 into my 95 civic si and i get a cel #9 and 20
CYP sensor and electronic load detector i am running a p30 ecu and i followed the instructions in my helms manual for testing the cpy sensor and it all checked out but the eld sensor is no where to be found. even though the cyp sensor tested fine i still get a cel so if someone could help me that would be great!!!!!

Have you taken off the distributor cap yet and inspected? If there is red dust, you're looking at a new distributor sub-assembly. The dizzy sensors can check out fine with an ohm meter but if the bushings are worn, they will allow the shaft to vibrate and send a funky waveform that the ECU can't do much with.

5th gen Civics did come with an ELD sensor, its located underneath your fuse box in the engine bay. The P28 used D10 as the ELD input....did the P30?
