cel after driving
Ever since I got my DC 4-1 header put on I have been getting a CEL. I have also gone through a motor swap and the CEL still comes on. I didn't do the swap myself, but I have looked at all the wiring and it seems like everything is connected, but I dont know much about it.
Anyway - when driving, after the car warms up the CEL will come on randomly. Sometimes it takes longer than other times. It will come on immediately if I hit VTEC. However, its not a normal CEL, because it goes away as soon as I shut the car off. So when I start it back up again, its gone. This makes it so I can't check the code.
Has anyone had a similar problem? The car has felt kinda slow ever since. I'm wondering if its an O2 sensor problem, or something to do with the intake manifold area, or maybe the ECU is just bad. This is a brand new ECU too...about a year old.
any help would be very appreciated.
