CEL 19? Finally started the car and I'm getting this... why?
I looked up code 19 in my integra service manual and couldn't find a damn thing on it? I know it's 19, one long flash, nine quick flashes. Why am I getting this? I'm using a stock P28 right now with a B18C5 motor, Toda Spec C's and portflow valvetrain. I tried clearing the code, and it keeps coming back? Guys help!
Convert the ecu to manual to get rid of code 19. I wouldn't recommend using the stock P28 too long with the B18C. What are you using for 2ndary intake runner control? You actually lose low-end torque if they stay open all the time. I'd go with a single stage intake manifold(skunk2) and Hondata S100/200 for that P28. Or at least a V-AFC to richen the mixture a bit. I apologize in advance because you probably knew most of this already though...

Yeah I opened up the ECU today, and compared it to the ECU that has been hondata prepped... to make a long story short I found that YES it is an automatic ECU which was stated above. So thanks for the help. Also, my motor is Type R block Civic Si head so it doesn't have secondary runners. Also, I'm not planning on keeping the ECU very long at all, I have Hondata S200 on the way so as soon as it gets in, I will be installing. Thanks for the help again ya'll

Very nice setup! Post pics and dyno times when you get a chance. Also, go here and get the hondata install manual.

On page 9 it tells how to make that P28 ECU into a 5 spd. I've done it several times. Along with the 2 capacitors, 1.1k resistor, and 2 sockets needed to make it hondata or chip-ready, it takes about 15mins and $3 worth of parts from radioshack. Then you can sell the prepped ECU on ebay for $150 when you don't need it anymore. That's money better spent on dyno time
