Hello all-

I'm currently helping my boss Ed move his Integra GSR from SSB to ITS, and one of the mods he's incorporating is a straight pipe. However, in order to avoid a CEL, I believe we need to modify the signal of the 2nd (the later) O2 sensor. Does anyone know what resistor to use for this application?

Just a thought. Couldn't you just tap the second wire into the 1st sensor.

 

I believe the two readings must be different otherwise OBD-II figures out that there's no "catalizying" going on between the two sensors.

 

C'mon, someone has to have some knowledge of this.

 

Since it's a race car, why not just pull the CEL bulb or cover it up?

 

try tying it up under the car still plugged in but not in the pipe.

Just in case there's a more important problem the ECU picks up?

Yes, that's a good point. Have you looked into any of the commercially available O2 sims?
