Default catalytic convertor question

i'm going to be putting a jdm itr 4-1 header in my 00 civic si. i ordered a carsound cat (2.5") from IPS racing for my car and will be mating it with an a'pexi n1 catback exhaust. i've read in different posts about people searching for specific cat numbers because they had a longer exhaust system. however, my question is will there be any fitment issues with my exhaust system? or should it just bolt right on? thanks in advance

also is there a break-in period for catalytic convertors? just curious. thanks

if carsound cat was made for your car, then hopefully you shouldn't have any fitment issues. your n-1 exhaust is 2.3'' and not 2.5'' though, but should still work I think. you should have an ince or so of play if your cat is alittle longer also.
